I recently announced the upcoming launch of my Article Marketing SEO members site and wanted to share a bit more about it today. I’m super excited about this launch and really eager to share all of my info, tips, tricks, and strategies learned from years of article marketing…
One reason I’m so excited about my launch is pretty simple: Frankly, I’ve never seen anybody offer what I will be offering.
Sure, there are countless article marketing ebooks out there. But I’ve yet to see anyone create a full-fledged member’s resource area with complete courses and highly targeted video trainings.
(Trust me, I’ve read virtually every ebook out there and even they can’t come close to offering as much massive value as I have been preparing for you.)
Whether you’re an affiliate marketer or a small business owner, someone just getting started or someone with tons of experience on the web, I know you’re going to get a lot out of what I have to offer.
But back to the point.
I was going through some of my member’s only resources today when I ran across a few images on a presentation that I think you should see now. People are always asking me about the potential of article marketing and what they can expect it to do for them.
Folks, check this out…

Hey Jason! Cool vid. Here’s what I want to learn…
Article marketing seems like a great tool but I think I have had more successs with paid clicks on google and yahoo. Do you think there’s any way to know if I can get better results from ppc ads than with article marketing?
Does that even make sense? LOL…

Hey Chad! Great question.
Pay Per Click v. Article Marketing is one of the topics I discuss inside the members area, so I’ve already got you covered there.
BUT – I will say this:
Pay Per Click and Article Marketing can be used TOGETHER for even better results. You can even use your PPC data AND your Article Marketing data to help you get better results in the other area.
PPC is a FAST way to get clicks to your website, but the $$$ adds up quickly.
Article Marketing is a slower strategy but MUCH CHEAPER and with far greater long-term, residual results.
Thanks for the great question, Chad!

Hey Jason,
Article marketing has always worked for me when targeting long tail keywords – especially when we submit to Ezine. (You obviously know this since you’re the one who wrote and submitted them for me lol!)
But there some barriers I’ve hit when getting deeper than 101 level:
1) When rankings are solid the traffic hasn’t been there. When traffic has been there rankings don’t stick for long (even when spinning/re-writing that article and submitting it to the 30+ other main directories aside from Ezine)… the ultimate question becomes how to continue feeding articles while remaining profitable.
2) Where do you see things headed long term with Article Marketing and Google? I’m concerned after another year or so all the article directories will become “tired”, filled mostly with articles designed to capture keywords and not offer as much value… do you think article writers will have to step up their game and if so will it still be affordable to outsource the writing?
Thanks for all you do.

Hey Costas,
These are AWESOME questions, and I’m really glad you’ve posted them here. I’ll tackle these one-by-one…
1) How can you continue feeding articles while remaining profitable?
I love this question because the answer is sort of built-in. How do you keep getting results with article marketing? By staying consistent, constantly re-engineering your keyword strategy, AND making use of the latest and greatest tricks and methods. Trust me: There are lots of things you can do as an article marketer to get an edge on your competition.
2) Where do I see things headed long-term for Article Marketing and Google?
Ooooh! The million-dollar question… Of course, Google will continue to ramp up their standards and expectations. But let’s not forget that EzineArticles.com, GoArticles.com, ArticleDashboard.com and a handful of other top directories are doing a phenomenal job of keeping up with Google. The short answer: Google is going to continue loving GOOD article marketing and continue giving kudos to HIGH QUALITY directories.
3) Do I think article writers will have to step up their game?
Definitely! Staying current with the very best strategies and learning how to harness to FULL POWER of article directories. Most article marketers today are barely skimming the surface of what’s possible. Everybody knows there are huge benefits to article marketing, but very few people are really squeezing out all the juices. Lots of potential is being left on the table.
4) Do I think it will continue to be affordable to outsource the writing?
I think it depends. But I will say this: Outsourcing the writing is an excellent strategy for article marketers who really want to leverage their time. That way, you can still focus on polishing the content, optimizing for target keywords, and using specific strategic submission and cross-linking strategies to get the most from every article marketing campaign.
Thanks for these awesome questions, Costas! I hope my answers are helpful.

Jason,
I do agree that sopping great value articles are the juice that runs a long-term marketing plan but how does Bing and Yahoo view/rate articles coming from ezine and other publishers? I know that ezine is the “crem de la crem” but I truly don’t understand how my articles are viewed by Bing or Yahoo.
Thanks for the Info!

Sofia,
This is a well-put question. Yahoo & Bing do behave VERY differently with article marketing than Google.
Let me sum it up this way…
Google is extremely responsive to EzineArticles.com and a handful of other “top directories” and will often place their articles high in its search engine results pages (SERPs).
Yahoo and Bing, on the other hand, will rank different articles in different ways. An article that does NOT rank highly on Google may very well rank highly on Yahoo and/or Bing. This is precisely the reason it’s so important to look at the “bigger picture” results from Article Marketing.
And here’s one more huge difference:
While Google does not typically award as much (if any) “link juice” for article marketing, Yahoo and Bing will often award much larger amounts. In other words, your article marketing campaigns can quickly result in higher rankings for your website in Yahoo and/or Bing search engine results pages.
I hope this helps. Thanks for the great comment!
